S-SERIES
The Adamson S-Series solves a problem that most rental houses face, which is how to get consistent coverage and excellent power out of a sub-compact system. Traditional 2-way line array designs cannot provide even horizontal coverage in the mid-range, which is why we designed our patent-pending Controlled Summation Technology. By eliminating the interference associated with multiple-source summation at the pass-band, we’ve allowed the end-user to provide seamless coverage to their clients, without sacrificing power and flexibility. The 2 Kevlar Neodymium drivers ensure that the S-Series full-range cabinets will exceed headroom expectations, and our design philosophy allows for a larger radiating cone surface area than comparable competitors’ products in a similar enclosure footprint.
The S7 is a 2-way, full range line array cabinet containing 2x ND7-LM16 Kevlar Neodymium drivers (2x 16 Ω) and an NH3-8 1.4” exit compression driver (8 Ω). The critically optimized sound chamber produces a slightly curved wavefront with a nominal dispersion pattern of 100° x 12.5° (H x V). The chamber’s efficiency allows for increased vertical dispersion without sacrificing high frequency presence in the far field. Patented Controlled Summation Technology further eliminates low-mid lobing normally associated with 2-way line source systems.
The cabinet construction uses marine grade birch plywood as well as aircraft grade steel and aluminum, and is equipped with two Speakon™ NL4 connectors. The SlideLock rigging system ensures easy yet secure setup and teardown.
The S7 is suited to a wide variety of applications. Its full range capability (80 Hz) at reasonable levels qualifies for applications where sub is not required. Increased vertical coverage (12.5°) enables the S7 to cover theaters and small arenas with reasonable speaker quantity. Other target applications include dance clubs, corporate events and contemporary churches.

S7
The S7p is a 2-way, full range point source cabinet containing 2x ND7-LM16 Low-Mid drivers (2x 16 Ω) and an NH3-8 1.4” exit compression driver (8 Ω). The prolate spheroidal waveguides produce a nominal dispersion pattern of 70° x 40° (H x V), rotatable by 90° increments.. The design of the waveguide ensures equal tonal balance when moving outside of the intended coverage pattern, delivering natural sound with no diffraction or lobing. The S7p can be operated in passive or bi-amped mode, which is user-defined through a switch on the jackplate.
The cabinet construction uses marine grade birch plywood as well as aircraft grade aluminum and steel, and is equipped with two Speakon™ NL4 connectors. A disc rigging system is placed on four faces of the enclosure, with a multitude of accessories allowing the enclosure to be deployed seamlessly in a variety of applications.
The S7p is suited to a wide variety of applications. Its full range capability (80 Hz) at reasonable levels qualifies for applications where sub is not required. Target applications include performing arts centers, live performance venues, sports venues, conference centers and houses of worship. The uniform voicing across the entire S-Series and E-Series makes the S7p the natural choice for front fill applications.

It is mounted in an ultra-efficient front-loaded enclosure, designed to reproduce clean, musical low frequency information.
The cabinet construction uses marine grade birch plywood as well as aircraft grade steel and aluminum, and is equipped with Speakon™ NL4 connectors. The integrated rigging system matches the rigging for the S7 and can be flown in the same array without the need for an adapter frame.
