The AN-16/i v.2 Input Module is used to connect up to 16 balanced line-level inputs from a console’s direct outputs, insert points, aux sends, and/or submixes to a personal mixing system or digital snake. When used alone, one AN-16/i v.2 can generate a single 16-channel A-Net signal.
The A-Net In on the AN-16/i v.2 allows multiple Pro16 input devices (including console cards, AN-16/i-M, AV-M8, and the original AN-16/i) to be connected together to generate the higher channel count Pro16e™ version of A-Net used by the A360 Personal Mixer and A320 Personal Mixer.
Compatibility Note: The Pro16e A-Net output of the AN-16/i v.2 is not compatible with the original A-16 Personal Mixer, AV-P2 Output Module, AN-16/o v.3 Output Module, and AN-16/o v.4 Output Modules with serial numbers 51162 and lower.
Product Details
Analog line-level audio connected to the TRS inputs on the AN-16/i v.2 is converted to digital and transmitted via the Pro16e version of A-Net® over Cat-5e cable to Personal Mixers or Pro16 output devices. Higher channel count A-Net streams can be generated by daisy chaining additional Pro16 Series input devices via the A-Net In jack on the AN-16/i v.2. The four-position slot range switch allows each AN-16/i v.2 in a system to be assigned to one of the four slot ranges supported by the Pro16e protocol, increasing the total audio sources available to the personal mixing system to 64.
Building Blocks for Personal Mixing Systems
The AN-16/i v.2 is typically placed near the front-of-house or monitor console to simplify patching when it is used as the head-end for a Pro16 personal mixing system. Audio from the console—any combination of channel inserts, direct outs, submixes, auxes, or groups—is connected to the TRS input channels on the AN-16/i v.2. A dedicated audio thru jack is available for each input channel, allowing the AN-16/i v.2 to be seamlessly inserted into an existing audio signal path.

When used with A360 and A320 Personal Mixers, the Pro16e protocol allows stereo inputs sources to be seamlessly integrated into a personal mixing system. Each odd/even pair of inputs on the AN-16/i v.2 is automatically assigned to a single channel button on the A360 when a stereo source is connected.
Note that the original A-16 Personal Mixer is not compatible with the AN-16/i v.2.
Digital Snakes and Audio Networks

Used in conjunction with the AN-16/o v.4 Output Module, the AN-16/i v.2 can also be used in a digital snake as an input path for main return signals from front-of-house to signal processors and amps at the stage. The SB4 System Bridge can be used to combine up to four Pro16 or Pro16e A-Net streams onto a single Cat-5e cable in a variety of bidirectional configurations.
The flexibility and simplicity of the Pro16 Series allows complex audio distribution systems and snakes to be created quickly and cost-effectively.

The 6416m Mic Input Module is Aviom's premier remote controllable 16-channel mic preamp for Pro64® digital snakes and audio networks. Use it as the head end of a digital snake or audio network to provide pristine A-to-D conversion of mic- and line-level signals.
The 6416m can be remote controlled in three ways: from the RCI Remote Control Interface and MCS Mic Control Surface combination, via m-control™ from Yamaha digital consoles, and/or by using the free Pro64 Network Manager software.
Product Details
The remote-controllable 6416m Mic Input Module provides 16 state-of-the-art mic-level analog inputs to a Pro64 system. Each input channel features continuous gain control, +48V phantom power, low cut filter, phase invert, mute, and a network activation button. With a switchable pad per channel, the 6416m also accepts balanced line-level inputs.
Simplified Remote Control
Audio settings for each channel can be configured directly from the 6416m front panel or controlled remotely using the optional RCI Remote Control Interface combined with the MCS Mic Control Surface. A single MCS can be used to control all 6416m Mic Input Modules in a Pro64 system or those assigned to a particular Control Group. Sixteen mic preamp presets can be saved in each 6416m to allow quick recall of commonly used settings.
The 6416m mic preamp gain can also be remote controlled directly from a Yamaha console when a 6416Y2 A-Net Interface Card is installed by using m-control™ which allows the gain, pad and phantom power changes sent form the console to be transmitted over the network.
To control a 6416m and the entire Pro64 network form a central location, use the free Pro64 Network Manager software. Its simple on-screen interface allows advanced functionality such as channel naming, device presets, and network-wide scene save and recall.
Pro64 A-Net supports three ranges of variable sample rates: 44.1/48kHz±, 96kHz±, and 192kHz±. No matter the sample rate, all 16 input channels on the 6416m are available for use. All audio is streamed at 24-bit resolution with no data compression at any time.
Connectivity
On the rear panel, the 6416m features both XLR jacks and DB25 multipin connectors for inputs and passive splits. A-Net network connections use heavy-duty locking EtherCon® connectors.
The 6416m includes I/O for Aviom's Virtual Data Cables™. The VDCs can be used for simultaneously distributing up to 14 channels of non-audio control data to any device on the Pro64 network. The 6416m provides VDC connectors for MIDI In, MIDI Out, RS232, and GPIO.
The 6416m also features the security of a rear-panel four-pin XLR connector for optional backup DC power.

The 6416i Input Module provides 16 balanced line-level analog inputs to a Pro64® digital snake or audio network.
Use the 6416i in a digital snake when sending return signals from a front-of-house console to the stage area to be connected to signal processing and amplifiers. In a digital audio network, the 6416i can be used when line level devices such as CD players, DAWs, computers and preamps need to be connected.
Product Details
The 2U 6416i can insert up to 16 line-level analog sources into a Pro64 digital snake or audio network system. Audio connected to the 6416i is converted to A-Net digital data and inserted into the Pro64 network. Each channel includes a four-position gain switch with three-segment LED level metering, and individual channel activation switches. Adjacent channels can be linked as a stereo pair. Audio thru connections are provided via DB25 multipin connectors on the rear panel.
Flexible I/O
Each 6416i can be configured to operate within one of four 16-channel channel/slot ranges within the Pro64 network or assigned to the network's matrix using the Pro64 Network Manager software, making complex installations easy to configure and manage. Each input channel of a 6416i can be made active and inserted into the network as needed.
The Pro64 A-Net network supports three ranges of variable sample rates: 44.1/48kHz±, 96kHz±, and 192kHz±. No matter the sample rate, all 16 input channels on the 6416i are available for use. All audio is streamed at 24-bit resolution with no data compression at any time.
In addition to its audio capabilities, the 6416i also includes the innovative Virtual Data Cables™for simultaneously distributing up to 14 channels of non-audio control data such as MIDI, RS-232, and GPIO to any device on the Pro64 network. Every Pro64 I/O module comes with its own set of VDC™ ports that can be individually configured.
The 6416i can also be used as inputs into a Pro16 personal mixing system (an ASI A-Net Systems Interface module is required).
