Αυτή την φορά ήταν η σειρά της Κρήτης, και συγκεκριμένα του Ρεθύμνου να διοργανώσει το παγκόσμιο κύπελο mini soccer (International Socca Federation) και η εταιρεία KARIOTIS AUDIO & LIGHTING ήταν εκεί να στηρίξει και να βοηθήσει με οποιοδήποτε τρόπο στην προσπάθεια να δημιουργηθεί κάτι παραπάνω από της προσδοκίες της διοργανώτριας αρχής.
In the center of Athens, in the old industrial zone, we designed the illumination of the tank of the Gas. The lighting design was carried out taking great care of the lighting fixtures in order to prevent any burden over the building. We gave great attention to light pollution as well as to the light texture.

Το 1857 ο Γάλλος Φραγκίσκος Φεράλδι (Francois Theophile Feraldi) αναλαμβάνει το έργο του φωτισμού της Αθήνας με φωταέριο. Ο δήμος Αθηναίων παραχωρεί στο Γάλλο επιχειρηματία το προνόμιο της εκμετάλλευσης του φωταερίου για 50 χρόνια.
