HIGHLIGHTS

DiGiCo's flagship, the top-of-the-line Quantum 852 was undoubtedly the big highlight at the Kariotis Audio & Lighting booth. A large work surface with two engines (it's essentially like buying two consoles with one surface) can play independently.

Here we also had a 'world first' with the new beta version of the integrated Fourier transform.engine engine control on the Quantum 338. Of course, the integration debuted at the ISE exhibition a month ago, but what we see here is the latest beta version. As Jaap informed us, the function will be officially available from the end of April onwards.

Thus, the control of the transform.engine plugins (compatible with any VST3 plugin that can run on Windows) is now in the hands of the operators through the desktop of DiGiCo consoles, in a way similar to the well-known KLANG:technologies platform which is also known to be integrated directly into the company's consoles.

In turn, Kiah Hassall, European sales manager of Sound Devices, gave us all the basic information about his company and the Astral family, with the A20-HH, which is the first handheld microphone in the series that supports an extended tuning range from 470 MHz to 1525 MHz. Also, thanks to the thread collar it carries, in addition to the patented and calibrated CD1 dynamic capsule which is excellent and is the one it wears as standard, it can accommodate the capsule of any 3rd manufacturer. At the same time, through the AutoAssign function, it scans and detects all frequencies automatically on all transmitters with the push of a button. The most important thing, however, was its direct automated control and cooperation with the Quantum series mixers.

We also saw the KLANG:KONDUCTOR, KLANG's largest immersive processor, with 128 channels and the ability for each musician to mix for 16 mixes, while it supports full integration with DiGiCo as you can handle each musician's mix directly from the console.

Adamson also had a special presence with the S10, S119 and S7 line array models, both, while from the point series we saw the S10P with a double 10-inch and a 5-inch horn, the new small installations with a 5-inch and 7-inch coaxial loudspeaker. We also saw the company's 'all-weather' installation series.

At dB Technologies we saw the flagship of the VIO X series, the VIO X310, a 3-way active point source implementation with RDNET, we saw the VIO L1610 line array from the homonymous VIO series, while from the Installation series we saw the IS210T, a 2-way passive speaker for indoor and outdoor installations. From the same series we saw the lilliputian cube speaker IS5T, which is worth seeing and listening to for those of you who deal with installations. Also present were the representatives of the Opera series with the Revo 210 and 212 and the DP- ES1203 column in a white finish.

The speakers of the Italian company Montarbo also had a dynamic presence, with the new Nettuno series taking pride of place. We were able to hear the Nettuno 50 (the flagship of the series) at the System Demo next to the flexible, fast and mobile stage of the Belgian Konligo (represented by the company Kariotis Audio & Lighting), while here at the company's main stand we saw the smaller models of the Nettuno 20 and Nettuno 10 series. We also saw the speakers and electronics of Tecnare...

At the TUTONDO stand we saw Voice Alarm systems, the ELOGIO in Wall (and in Ceilling) speakers, the MONDO T an Audio Multi Room audio and video management system for homes and multi-purpose spaces. Next to it were the ARIA di VENEZIA In wall speakers along with the wall-mounted control units. Also present was the AVS 200, as well as the company's 'invisible' speakers such as the 2-way MIRAGGIO that we saw (or rather we didn't see because it's invisible) that are fully integrated into the wall.

Regarding lighting, the HaluPix Duo by PROLIGHTS was the big highlight at the Kariotis Audio & Lighting booth, which also won the best show award at the recent ISE exhibition in Barcelona. It is a 500W IP65 dual layer LED matrix panel with 7x7 2700K 4° Beams and 21x21 RGBWW pixels. It combines lighting and video capabilities in a modular implementation.

Compulite presented its entire range of products in a separate section of the booth. Detailed information about the company's products was provided to visitors by Aviv Shukrun, R&D Manager of Compulite, who gave us a tour of them. As he told us, 3 of the company's 4 consoles are located here, specifically the VIBE XL, the Vibey (VIBE baby) and the new PC wing with motorized faders. They all run the same control software and have the same capabilities, their size just differs.

The German company GLP had its own product area dominated by the JDC2, a hybrid strobe with 84 high-performance LEDs of 10 W each, 12 independently controllable segments and more than 100 static and dynamic strobe patterns.

Vincenzo Casadei of Unirig presented us with the entire range of electric chain hoists of the DIVO series from Unirig. The newest model we saw is the Divo FOUR, a variable speed motor with a load capacity of 500 kg and a lifting speed of 24 m/min.

We also saw the DIVO FOUR and D8 plus, as well as the new East Touch Motor Controller that supports 8 channels. The Motor Controller has a 7-inch touch screen for its operation and variable speed control and can operate automatically or manually while it has 50 memory locations, a multifunctional menu and wireless control.

Konligo’s Revolutionary Stage
Konligo presented an impressive folding stage, which combines modern design, durability and ease of transport and installation. With its innovative mechanism, the stage was set up in no time, highlighting its dynamic speed and adaptability. Its design, with curved architectural lines and high durability, attracted attention, while its construction allows it to be used in different events and conditions, from music concerts to professional events.

The Iconic Experience of the Adamson Fletcher Machine
One of the most talked-about highlights of the exhibition was the specially designed space for the presentation of the Adamson Fletcher Machine, one of the most advanced sound processing systems in the world. In a carefully designed acoustic environment, visitors had the opportunity to experience the ultimate three-dimensional sound experience, with sound that moved dynamically in space, creating an unparalleled sense of realism and depth.

The Adamson Fletcher Machine leverages state-of-the-art spatial audio technology, allowing users to position and move sound in space with millimeter precision. Its presentation at AV MUSIC SHOW 2025 demonstrated why it is considered a game-changer in professional audio production, offering ultimate control and flexibility to industry professionals.
