The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held this year for the 19th consecutive year and, like all the previous ones,

 this year's Goldenvoice has commissioned audio coverage for Rat Sound Systems.

Rat Sound, in addition to the 800 L-Acoustics booths installed on the seven major stages of the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theater, Gobi, Sahara, Mojave, Yuma and Sonora, installed DiGiCo consoles in almost all stages of the festival, while many bands brought together their own DiGiCo.

 According to Matt Larson, vice president of Group One Limited, the official DiGiCo representative in the US, "in each of the three biggest stages of the festival were placed by two SD10s with Waves at FOH and two SD12 on the monitors respectively the systems had their own SD-Racks with the new 'Ultimate Stadius' 32-bit Mic Pre-Amps.

The remaining 4 stages featured an SD10 with Waves and an SD12 with the same SD-Racks and 32-bit Ultimate Pre-Amplifiers.

 Only on the first Sunday at the main Coachella Stage there were a total of 12 DiGiCo consoles (of Rat and the bands that appeared there) ...

 Also, Rat Sound had supplied the production office with SD10 and SD12 (along with the SD-Rack and the new 32-bit preamps) to make it easier for the sound engineers to control, edit their show files before their bands go up in the respective stages of the festival.
