Who is FOLLOW-ME:
Founded in the Netherlands by Gary Yates and Erik Berends, Follow-Me is based on over 25 years of collective industry expertise and advanced product development. It all started in 2013 when the British band Suede, through lighting director Jip Nipius, requested a cost-effective and flexible follow-spot solution. Rising to the challenge, the founders built the first Follow-Me system.
The system allowed moving head lights to remotely track the singer, sparking a revolution in live performance technology.
Since then, Follow-Me has evolved beyond this initial innovation.
TODAY
Today, they manufacture manual and automated performer tracking, lighting, video, and immersive audio systems for the entertainment industry. Their versatile range of systems includes Follow-Me 3D, which supports manual performer tracking with seamless control of multiple fixtures, and Follow-Me TRACK-iT, which offers scalable automatic tracking of multiple performers with camera feedback, all supported by their own custom-designed systems.
Their solutions are trusted in a wide range of productions, from international tours and TV shows to theatrical performances and theme parks.
Follow-Me systems have become the standard for many Lighting Designers and Lighting Technicians.
